KORE Film and Transmedia produces film, theatre and transmedia.

KORE has co-developed and co-written the transmediaproject ”Granny’s dancing on the table”, a project that won the prestigious ARTE Power to the Pixel Award in London in 2010 and the European Union’s MEDIA European Talent Prize for Best Script 2011. In 2011 KORE launched the world’s first Facebook theatre play, ”Loves Loves Me Not”, which received press attention in Sweden and abroad. KORE is currently developing short film- and transmedia project ”Holy”, about a singer who while preparing the part of Lady Macbeth in the Verdi opera discovers that the man she sleeps with is an exploiter who benefits from the deaths of innocent people – a project about gender roles, power, truth and the structure of evil. “Holy” was selected as one of 25 projects worldwide to The Pixel Market 2011, the world’s most important market for cross-, trans- and new media projects, to Boost Hbg Transmedia Program 2011-2012 and to the short film development lab Cortisonici Lab 2012. We are also developing the cross-media children and adolescent fantasyproject “Valkyria”, which traces a young outcast girl’s fight to save her sister from destiny and death, and understand who she herself is. “Valkyria” has been selected as one of seven Nordic projects to the Nordic Film and TV Funds High Five Cross Media Content for Kids Scheme 2012 and for the Boost Hbg Talent Development Program 2012. We in KORE are the founders of Girls’ Camp, highly successful theatre camps for girls and young women in Sweden. The theatre of Girls’ Camp is unique in form being interactive and participatory and also making use of game mechanics and inspired by performance art, installations, improvisation techniques, location based games and role playing games. You can find more information about the camps (in Swedish) here!

KORE creates the concept, writes the story and designs the experience in-house, and works with acclaimed professionals in each field for the production of content.
